SAMPLE TORTOLA, BVI'S ITINERARY
| Day 1 | UK to Tortola, British Virgin islands and transfer to the marina for embarkation. After a refreshing welcome cocktail you will be shown to your cabin and helped to settle in to your new home for the week. Enjoy a delicious dinner aboard. Relax onboard or you can take a taxi into the capital, Road Town. |
| Day 2 | We set sail for Cooper Island for a delightful snorkel or Scuba diving experience. After lunch we move the boat around to Manchioneel Bay where you can snorkel, kayak or spend some time ashore on one of the BVI’s most beautiful beaches. In the afternoon it is time to raise the sails and head up the Sir Francis Drake Channel to Virgin Gorda, anchoring in St Thomas Bay. Dinner will be served onboard. |
| Day 3 | After breakfast a short trip over to the most renowned place in the BVI, "The Baths," a unique formation of large boulders, littering the beaches. After lunch you can enjoy more snorkeling or visit the beautiful marina at Spanish Town and shop at local stores and boutiques. In the afternoon, we will sail to The North Sound, the BVI’s favorite playground. Well deserved sun downers are mixed, followed by dinner onboard. |
| Day 4 | Visit the quaint Bitter End Yacht Club or Leverick Bay before setting sail for the Dog Islands, stopping off at Great Dog. After lunch we have a leisurely downwind sail to Marina Cay. After an afternoon of snorkeling and diving, dinner is taken ashore at the world famous Pusser’s Landing where a pre-dinner Pusser's "pain killer"" should not be missed. |
| Day 5 | After breakfast, enjoy a short visit to Trellis Bay and the arts and crafts studios and shops, then a short trip over to Monkey Point, off Great Camanoe Island, for snorkeling and kayaking. After lunch sail for the island of Jost Van Dyke, and the picturesque Diamond Cay. Enjoy dinner onboard and possibly an evening ashore in "Foxy’s", one of the Caribbean's favourite hangouts. |
| Day 6 | While you are still asleep in your cabin, we move off to either Sandy Spit or Sandy Cay to put the “first footsteps in the sand.” After breakfast, enjoy some more snorkeling or take the kayak ashore for some more exploration. After a beautiful sail through Thatch Island Cut we arrive at the original Dutch settlement of Soper’s Hole. Lunch is served after a lovely trip to the Indians at Norman Island, where there will be ample time to snorkel and Scuba dive in one the BVI’s most prestigious spots. |
| Day 7 | An early move to the West side of Norman offers the chance to snorkel before and after breakfast in The Caves, some of the sites where pirate booty was stashed on this Treasure Island. A trip up the Sir Francis Drake Channel brings us to Salt Island. After lunch we arrive back at home base in time for sun-downers. Dinner is taken ashore at a restaurant close by. |
| Day 8 | After breakfast onboard, it is time to gather your belongings and memories. Your crew will arrange transport back to the airport before exchanging fond farewells. |
