Corfu Yacht Charter General Information:

Corfu Island, situated at the northern end of the Ionian Sea, is the second largest of the Ionian Islands. Corfu town itself is quite unlike typical Greek towns, as the the island was ruled by Venitian nobility until nearly 1800. Shortly afterwards, the Island became a British protectorate until 1864, influences of which can be seen to this day. Gouvia marina is an excellent base from which to explore Corfu itself, the northern Ionian Islands and the mainland coast of Greece.

The Weather

Reliable sunshine is virtually guaranteed during the season between early May and late October, with temperatures ranging from the low 70's in early and late season up to the high 80's or even low 90's in late June through August. Winds are predictable with moderate to fresh winds (Force 3-6) from the NW.
