General remarks:
Gouvia Marina, which was the first privately owned marina in Greece, is situated about 6 kilometres from the town of Corfu and 7 kilometres from the International Airport. The port is close by, offering ferry links with Patras and Italy. Seaplanes also service the marina itself, with local flights to Lefkas and beyond. A short hop across to Igoumenitsa offers coach and bus links to Athens.
