Kos Yacht Charter General Information:

Kos is the third largest of the Dodecanese Islands and was the birth place of Hippocrates, considered the father of medicine. Kos is rich in archealogical history and is today a popular destination from which to explore the nearby Turkish coast and the Dodecanese islands.

Our base in the marina is in Kos Town itself, which, although relatively modern, is a picturesque town dominated by the Castle of the Knights near the port.

The Weather

Reliable sunshine is virtually guaranteed during the season between early May and late October, with temperatures ranging from the low 70's in early and late season up to the high 80's or even low 90's in late June through August. Winds are predictable with moderate to fresh winds (Force 3-6) from the NW. The Meltemi is the prevailing wind during the high summer months.

Wednesday morning charter flights from Gatwick, Birmingham, Newcastle and Manchester to Kos with afternoon return. Charter flights to Kos also available on Thursdays from East Midlands, Manchester and Newcastle or Saturdays from Manchester and Doncaster.
