The island of Samos is famous historically as the birth place of the mathematician Pythagoras, who has given his name to one of the more up-market towns on the island. Samos is an ideal location from which to explore the northern Aegean Islands and the nearby Turkish mainland coast. Our base in the marina has all the facilities you would expect, with the now World Heritage listed ancient city of Samos located in the town of Pythagorio.

The Weather

Reliable sunshine is virtually guaranteed during the season between early May and late October, with temperatures ranging from the low 70's in early and late season up to the high 80's or even low 90's in late June through August.
