Gocek, or Kalimche as it was originally called, began as a small village which grew up with a strong artistic influence. An Important mining town during the Ottoman empire, this town rich in heritage waits to be explored. The natural harbour created by the protected bay is the ideal setting for our base in the marina, which provides all the essential services required.

The Weather

Sailing Conditions are reliable with north-westerly winds Force 2-4, occasionally 5-6, from late morning to late afternoon. These fade as the sun goes down to give a calm night on anchor in one of the numerous sheltered bays and anchorages. The sailing season runs from early May to late October.
