 Our fast-track Dinghy Instructor  course is designed for ambitious  sailors, with a good standard of  boat handling that are confident  sailing in moderate winds. (We ask for a minimum standard of RYA Level 2 Basic Skills at the outset).
The course is run from our RYA training centre based on Lefkas Island, Greece and will take 5 weeks.
Week’s 1 & 2
The first two weeks are focused on honing your sailing skills.  You will achieve RYA Seamanship skill’s, Sailing with Spinnakers and Performance sailing over this period. You will also learn basic powerboat skills and take those initial steps in your quest to becoming an instructor. Additionally you will gain a First Aid certificate along with your RYA powerboat licence.
 These two weeks will be Intense, and a lot of water time with professional coaching in order to get you up to the standard of the RYA pre-entry examination.

Weeks 3 & 4
Weeks 3 & 4 are dedicated to Instructor development. You will hone your teaching skills by instructing live training sessions in both single and double handed dinghies. You will spend time learning the theory behind the practical sessions and take the time to work through the RYA ‘method’.
 You will concentrate on safety, group control and further development of  powerboat skills. You will also be giving group lectures to your fellow candidates and sailing daily to enhance your teaching and personal sailing skills.

Week 5
Pre-entry Assessment, Instructor Assessment & Moderation.
You will be assessed on your personal sailing skills before the instructor course commences.

The cost for the package is £2950 per person,

For just the 7 night Instructor course plus assessment, 30 June or 29 September flight inclusive price only £995.

Price includes: All course material, accommodation at Nikiana Beach Club on half board basis (breakfast & lunch daily), flights to and from Preveza from a London airport.

Accommodation is based on sharing a twin room at Nikiana Beach Club with en suite facilities and air conditioning.
