Seafarer beach clubs are proud to offer Sailing, Windsurfing & Powerboat courses under the guidance of the RYA (Royal Yachting Association), this ensures we employ fully qualified, seasoned instructors that will always go the extra mile to ensure you receive the ultimate learning experience, in a safe, controlled environment. Whether you’re a complete novice or a seasoned dinghy sailor or windsurfer, our instructors have the knowledge to take you on to the next step in your development. Sailing Courses

• Dinghy or Windsurf refresher, Complimentary

This is a free 1 hour session aimed at those ‘rusty’ sailors or windsurfers that require a quick mind jolting experience. Our instructors will refresh your memory with land drills, questions and answers and taking you through boat and board techniques. Please note: this is not a beginner class.

This course is run over a period of 10 hours throughout the week. It is offered to complete sailing novices so no experience required. You will learn the sailing basics, boat control and the all important ‘wind awareness’.

So you’ve done a couple of weekends sailing, and your looking for that extra knowledge! This course takes the beginner to the next level. By the end of the course you will be sailing happily, Tacking, Gybing and using the ‘5 essential’s’. Putting your capsize recovery into practice and learning how to rig your own boat and launch it in a variety of wind conditions.

Our Beach Clubs offer the opportunity to have an assessment on any aspect of the RYA dinghy sailing syllabus (except keelboat). If you are a competent sailor and would like the certificate to prove it we can help. You will receive an assessment by one of our instructors and subject to your ability you will receive an certificate and logbook from the RYA. Should you miss out initially, you will receive a free re-assessment at the end of the week after you have brushed up on your skills.

If you would like just a little reminder and don’t want to do the full courses. We offer one hour slots in any aspect of the dinghy sailing syllabus (subject to conditions & availability). Windsurf tuition on a one hour basis also on offer One hour Sessions to be booked in resort.

Aimed at those budding powerboaters. The level 2 course gives you the knowledge to handle a small powerboat, safety standards and basic meteorology & maintenance . We ask that guests have previous powerboating experience to attend this course.

Complete beginner powerboat course. Available on demand, bookable in resort.

More advanced powerboating, ideal for those looking to join sailing schools or becoming a senior dinghy/windsurf Instructor. Available on demand, bookable in resort.

We also offer a complimentary end of the week Regatta, sailing & windsurfing theory clinics and free sailing. Safety boat supervision on hand as long as the beach front is open.
