Greek Sailing Itinerary – Northern Sporades & Pelion

Departing every Friday from 16th May to 11th October - 7 or 14 nights

THE PELION ROUTE
Fri Fly UK to Skiathos and transfer to the harbour for embarkation.
Sat Paleo Trikeri – after a morning briefing sail to this sleepy fishing harbour, welcome punch party.
Sun Amaliopolis – time to explore the gulf and a leisurely swim stop before anchoring for the night.
Mon Pegadi – a quaint fishing harbour with authentic tavernas, explore the ruined tower of Achilles.
Tue Orei – sail to the north coast of Evia island and visit this lively little resort with its ancient Acropolis guarding the harbour.
Wed Koukounaries – we sail east towards Skiathos and Koukounaries, a fantastic beach backed
by a pine forrest and a low key resort.
Thu Our two-week flotilla commences two days of independent sailing, whilst one week clients return to Skiathos with the prospect of a lively night out.
Fri Arrivals & departures. Two-week flotilla on independent sailing - explore the South Pelion Coast or southern Skopelos then rendezvous at Patitiri on Alonissos.
THE SPORADES ROUTE
Fri Arrivals and departures in Skiathos – two week flotilla continues free sailing.
Sat Patitiri – Capital of Alonissos and an enchanting and timeless harbour.
Sun Peristeri or Pelagos – a chance to escape and explore uninhabited islands. Beach BBQ.
Mon Steni Vala – a pretty fishing village with a choice of good tavernas ashore.
Tue Skopelos – Capital of the island of the same name and a charming harbour town rising steeply
from the pretty harbour.
Wed Agnonda Bay or Panormos Bay – great beaches, waterside tavernas and good shelter.
Thu Skiathos – a swimming stop and a leisurely sail back to our base. Time for drinks on board before a last night out on the town.
Fri Arrivals & departures. Two-week flotilla on independent sailing with rendez-vous at PaleoTriker.

The Weather

Reliable sunshine and good sailing winds with flat seas along the southern side of the Islands. The season runs from May to early October, with temperatures ranging from the mid 70s in early and late season to the high 80s from June through mid September. Moderate to fresh winds force 3-6, the upper range being during the late July and August Meltemi season. Great for experienced sailors.
