General Information

The village of Korfos is located in the North East of the Peloponnese and is the perfect starting point for a week of sailing adventures in the Saronic Gulf. The fishing village is built around a natural harbour and oozes charm with a variety of great restaurants and local amenities along with beaches within very easy reach of the harbour.
The Saronic Gulf is one of Greece’s classic sailing spots with moderate winds and a great selection of island & mainland destinations to visit. These include favourites such as Epidavros, Poros, Hydra and more, as well as heading east to discover Salamina and Agistri as well as the much-loved islands of Perdika and Aegina.

Sailing Itineraries

North to Salamis  – 1 week

Day 1

Fly UK to Athens and transfer to Korfos harbour for embarkation.

Day 2

Perdika – (17 nm) A beautiful fishing village with access to the famous Moni Island

Day 3

Salamina – (13 nm) Site of the famous naval battle in 480BC

Day 4

Aegina – (10 nm) The capital of the island of Aegina with a fantastic market

Day 5

Agistri – (10 nm) This sleepy little island is something of a discovery with turquoise waters

Day 6

Day of exploration

Return to Korfos

Day 8

Disembark and transfer to Athens airport

East to Poros- 1 week

Day 1

Fly UK to Athens and transfer to Korfos for embarkation.

Day 2

Old Epidayros (10 nm) – An attractive harbour  authentic working village with character  and the gateway for the notable ancient amphitheater of the same name, still in use today.

Day 3

Poros – (21 nm) A beautiful town, with lots of little backstreet tavernas and a bustling nightlife.

Day 4

Ermioni – (22 nm) Take a walk through the pines to relax with a cocktail while the sun sets.

Day 5

Hydra – (10 nm)  A stunning island with no cars, the favourite haunt of Leonard Cohen

Day 6

Exploring Day

Return to Korfos

Day 8

Disembark and transfer to Athens airport via train or taxi.

How to get There

The gateway airport is Athens and the transfer to Korfos takes around one hour thirty minutes by road and we can arrange transfers for you. Alternatively, you can take the train from Athens airport,  with an easy change at Kato Acharnai to Corinth and a taxi from there to the base. The train journey takes around 90 minutes in total and runs every hour between 0609 and 2209, costing €12 per person per way, a taxi takes around 30 minutes.
