When it comes to sailing, the British Virgin Islands is everyone’s idea of a dream destination. This protected cruising area is just as perfect for beginners as it is for the very experienced sailor. Each unique island has its own story and you can explore them all, enjoying incredible line-of-sight sailing as you go.

Discover some of the Caribbean’s most photographed beaches like The Baths at Virgin Gorda and world famous locations such as the coral atoll of Anegada, which the Spanish named The Drowned Island.

Day 1

UK to Beef island, British Virgin islands, and transfer to Scrub Island Marina for embarkation.

Day 2

Enjoy a relaxing short sail across the Sir Francis Drake Channel to Norman Island.

Day 3

Set sail for Cooper Island and arrive early to pick up a mooring buoy. Relax and enjoy a swim before dining aboard under the stars.

Day 4

Sail to the Baths and have lunch on one of the buoys. In the afternoon, sail across to Marina Cay or Trellis Cay

and dine ashore or BBQ aboard your yacht.

Day 5

Head on towards north sound, Virgin Gorda. You are spoilt for choice in where to stay overnight, Bitter End Yacht Club and Leverick Bay being a couple of the possibilities.

Day 6

Set sail for Monkey Point on Guana Island for lunch. Cruise down the rugged and unspoilt norht coast of Tortola and overnight in Little Harbour or Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke.

Day 7

Return to Scrub Island via Cane Garden bay

Day 8

Disembark and transfer to the airport

Fly from the UK to Beef Island via Antigua or through the US via Puerto Rico.

The Trellis Bay shuttle dock is within walking distance of the airport, but we would recommend taking a taxi with your bags. Once at the dock, there is a free shuttle service (which takes 10 minutes) out to Scrub Island resort and marina. This is a fantastic location to start your charter from, and the exclusive resort offers superb facilities – perfect for a luxurious start or finish to your charter.
