After breakfast, we will sail alongside the picturesque wild coast where you will discover Cala di Palù and its renowned stone totems, and the typical  Sugarloaf. We will stop here for lunch at the  “Swimming Pool” , a creek fringed with sheer rocks. Here we will have time to enjoy swimming, snorkelling or kayaking. After lunch, we will sail to Les Calanques de Piana, where we will see the famous colourful caves, granite cliffs and rock formations. Next, we will travel on to the Gulf of Porto, classified as a world heritage site by UNESCO, then we will pass Capo Cenino before reaching one of the natural marvels of Corsica, the Gulf of Girolata. Here you will find a Genoese bastion and a fisherman’s village. Tonight will be spent moored in Girolata Creek.

After breakfast, we will sail to the Scandola Nature Reserve, one of the most  beautiful geological phenomenons in Corsica. Only day mooring is permitted within the reserve, which will allow us to visit the reef’s labyrinth by tender. Here we can snorkel and admire underwater cliffs and countless fish. We will moor for lunch in Scandola, and then take time for a swim before heading to Calvi. For centuries, Calvi was under Genoese domination, and some locals believe it to be the true birthplace of Christopher Columbus. The quays are now crowded with lively bars and restaurants. Uptown, the narrow streets snake to the magnificent citadel. We will moor for the night in the marina.

In the morning, we will have free time to visit Calvi, before departing to the Gulf of La Revellata, where we can swim, snorkel or kayak. After lunch we will sail to Girolata. On the way, we can admire the cliffs of bright red granite, and discover more of Corsica’s beautiful coastline. Further south, discover Girolata a small fisherman’s village, one of the last places on the coast that is inaccessible by roads and is inhabited. Girolata has a dreamlike quality that’s highlighted by the vivid red of the surrounding rocks. A short stretch of stony beach and a few houses are dominated by a stately watchtower, built by the Genoese late in the seventeenth century, and is in the form of a small castle on a bluff overlooking the cove.  We will take time to swim, snorkel and kayak, before mooring for the night in Cala Muretta or Cala Vecchia.

Another sail around Capo Rosso and its spectacular coastline, in order to visit the sites not seen during our first stop. Then we will sail on to Cargese, a typical harbour that became a famous Mediterranean seaside resort. The village was established by a group of Greek immigrants at the end of the 18th century, and the economy of this village is now solely based on tourism. Here will take the time to enjoy some swimming, snorkelling and kayaking, or simply relax, before mooring for the night.

Morning sailing in the bay of Sagone, before mooring for lunch. After lunch we will sail towards Ajaccio. In the late afternoon we will visit the city of Ajaccio which was the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. Here we will take time to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and wealth of cafes, restaurants and shops, and wander through the narrow streets to enjoy the lively quays of the harbor.

This morning our route will take us to Sénétose and its magnificent wild moorings. We will stop for lunch in Arana cove, where we will enjoy swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling. After lunch we will sail towards Bonifacio. The whole coast after Acula, is indented with tiny fjords. On Rocapina headland, a heap of rocks looks like a lion lying down. Arrival late afternoon in the pearl of South Corsica, the beautiful Bonifacio. Entering the port of Bonifacio is very impressive because the harbour is dominated by a huge cliff, on which the fortified city is located. The inhabitants use to say that this vast fjord would be where Ulysses’ black vessel sheltered once during his Odyssey. Mooring for the night.

Departure to the Lavezzi islands. The extraordinary aspect of this heap of rocks gives the feeling that we’re back to the Stone Age. This marine and ground sanctuary mainly protects a rare species of seagull that nest within the vast rocks, as well as countless fish in turquoise waters. The boulders, which are piled up high, form the shape of small rooms with walls that are polished by erosion. We will have lunch in this heavenly mooring, followed by swimming, snorkelling and kayaking.  We will be mooring in Piana island, a natural reserve where the waters are 3 -4 meters deep, and are so clear that you can see the white sandy bottom.

After a leisurely breakfast, we will spend the morning swimming and snorkelling in a natural aquarium. Following lunch, we will sail to the small cove of Rocapina, with its lion shaped rock formation. It is here that we will be mooring for the night.

This morning, after breakfast, we will have free time to swim, snorkel or kayak. Departure to Propriano after lunch. Sailing along the coasts for the Golfe de Valinco and arriving in Propriano. The shore is boarded by houses around this typical Corsican harbour, which is lively with many bars and restaurants. The town is absolutely charming and not too crowded even in high season. We will visit  the village for shopping, before mooring for the night in Propriano.

This morning we will sail to Ajaccio, with a stop in front of the Isolella tower.  This tower was constructed around 1597, as part of the coastal defences against Barbary pirates. We will be mooring in front of a nice beach where we will have lunch, plus there will be time for kayaking, snorkeling and swimming. After lunch we will sail to Ajaccio, arriving in the late afternoon. Once we have arrived, you can visit the city, and enjoy the lively quays. Mooring for the night in Ajaccio.
