Our island-hopping sailing adventure is an ideal way to discover the islands of the Aegean in comfort and safety with our professional skipper aboard to look after you. Whether you are an experienced sailor or just looking for a relaxing introduction to sailing, this is the perfect blend of sun, sea and scenery. What’s more, booking by the cabin on our guaranteed weekly departures makes it easy. There are no hidden extras since the skipper, yacht fuel, breakfast and light lunch provisioning and other costs are all included in the price.
Each new day brings another island to explore
Set sail from Mykonos and explore the wonderful islands of Santorini, Naxos and Koufonisi amongst others before sailing back into Mykonos at the end of your first week. Explore the vibrant cosmopolitan island of Mykonos before leaving the yacht or, better still, continue for a second week of sailing. From here we will visit the islands of Schinoussa, Paros and Folegandros to name but a few, before sailing back towards Mykonos.
The only way to travel
Our large comfortable yachts are the perfect vessels for your Greek sailing adventure, with 4 double cabins, all with air-conditioning and en-suite facilities. A maximum of eight guests are on board, together with an experienced, professional skipper to look after you.
A voyage of discovery
After a day on the water with the wind in your hair, enjoy a sun-downer on deck before exploring the local area. We like to reach harbour in the afternoon so there’s plenty of time to relax, go sightseeing or swimming before choosing a waterside taverna for dinner. Sample the local specialities, which vary from island to island and make this a voyage of culinary discovery as well as exploring the historical and cultural delights of these beautiful islands.

A Typical Day
Our cabin charter cruises are designed to be a relaxing sail between the islands and we try to keep the day as relaxed as possible
- 08:00 – Start preparing breakfast and get the coffee brewing
- 08:30 – Breakfast in the cockpit, chatting about the sailing to come
- 09:30 – Slip lines and head out to sea
- 12:00 – Drop anchor in a bay, time for a swim and to enjoy lunch as anchor
- 14:00 – Square everything away, weigh anchor and head out into the afternoon breeze
- 16:00 – 17:00 – Moor up in this evening’s destination – the rest of the evening is your own to explore and dine ashore
This is an authentic sailing trip, so the weather plays a big part and our schedule and destinations are subject to change as we go…
The Weather
The wind patterns in the Aegean are perfect for this sailing adventure, with breezes from force 2 to 5 in the early and later parts of the season. In August and early September, the Meltemi wind blows from the North, with slightly higher wind strengths. Our experienced crew will adjust the routes where necessary to ensure you enjoy the best experience on your cabin charter holiday.
The Yachts
Both our Ocean Star yachts are ideally suited to explore the beautiful Cyclades Islands of the Aegean Sea. They are licensed charter yachts well equipped with modern navigation and safety equipment. Accommodation comprises 4 double air-conditioned guest cabins with en suite shower/wc, plus a separate crew cabin. The galley is equipped with 2 large fridges and gas cooker. Featuring a spacious and comfortable saloon with large dining table. A well-equipped galley with 2 fridges and music system in the saloon as well as the cockpit (including aux input). Outside of the cockpit, these yachts feature spacious foredecks, ideal for sunbathing.
